Just checking in. I hope that it doesn't come to a new kidney, but if it does, you two will get through, I'm sure. I admire your whole family's strength.

pet peeve: Scott's liver continues to do WELL, not "good". Am I correct and everyone uses "good" incorrectly or am I just being ancient and "good" is now an adverb, too? Any teachers out there who know?
I am very happy to hear that Scott is not just stable but continuing to improve. Yea. Let's hope that that new kidney thing is in 50+ years...
I agree about airconditioning. I usually prefer real natural temperatures to excessive air conditioning in restaurants. We still don't have an air conditioner at home. (but we do at work).

HI,from tennessee
boy do I love to hear that you are doing better. Keep up the good work and give the propper praise where it is deserved. I check frequently but rarely write and I like what I've been reading lately.
Marilyn and I both send our best

Hi There:
This evening I was searching for photographs of livers of all things and your blog came up. I homeschool my children and both my girls were asking to see various internal organs this evening so I googled to find them.
Your blog and all you have been through really struck a cord with me.
My 6 year old had a liver transplant 4 years ago, at the age of 2. After my girls went to sleep I found myself drawn back to your blog to read about your family. Oh the ups and downs I can so remember and my heart goes out to you. My daughter developed a bilomia after her transplant which required re-hospitalization and after she was released within days had to return due to having developed aplastic anemia. I can remember thinking that we were never ever going to get her away from that hospital (UCLA) and I cried myself to sleep each night.
I'm sure you know the feeling.
But know that once they get those meds right, you will have what I like to call a new kind of normal and it will be almost like it never happened.... almost.
I wish your family the very best. And we will of course add you to our prayers.

~Melissa~

Martha, Scott, enjoy your "quiet time". It least you don;t have "a ton" (yes, over 2000lbs) of animals to take care of when your children are gone. Try and get caught up with life and rest. have fun, be good (is that an "and" or an "or" statement?) Thanks for watching and entertaining the boys (and taking him to the bus).

Glad that the important people and things escaped the van fire.At least there is an excuse for a shopping spree! I watched a vehicle burn once. It took very little time to be engulfed in flames.. PHEW!

WOW! that is a load of pills.. Thank goodness for all of those pills and the procrit that are supporting you in a return to a more "normal" existence. We are so blessed to have pills and shots and surgeries available that keep us breathing..We are so blessed to have insurance to help pay for them. We are so blessed to have jobs that provide insurance.

I agree that the decision for you to stay home and get some rest without the interruption of life's hussle and bussle was a good one.. The body and the soul need time to heal from the inside out... This is not done on our time schedule and if we do not listen, things stagnate. I am sure it is difficult to miss the fun but the healing time is just what your Docs ordered ...2 months out is a truly short time to be mended given how physically, mentally and emotionally stressed you have been for a very long time...

Every day, you :SCOTT HULL are getting better and better.

more pics please! dragonflies and butterflies would be GREAT!

hugs, nancyB and the gang

Hi Scott,

Glad to hear that Erin and the rest in the van are all right. That is the most important thing.

Boy buddy I wouldn't want to be you and have to take all those pills. I thought two a day was a lot. Just take them as long as they are helping you.

Sorry you were left behind and didn't get to go to the beach. But you probably needed the rest. Hope you got some. You take care of yourself and I am still praying and thinking of you. As long as I have that picture hanging I will always have you in my mind and prayers.

Take care and keep in touch and send some new pictures of you.
